On Valentine’s Day 2000, I handmade a host of clues that sent Mati on a treasure hunt around the house in search of a little gift. Within an hour, we were at a coffee shop sketching ideas for what was to be our very own product line. Six years, 43 design revisions, and 26 hand-cut prototypes later, it was printed, in stores across the country and featured in Print’s Design Annual.
